Jonquille Pak

Jonquille Pak is a Toronto labour and employment lawyer with over twelve years of expertise.

As a former naval reservist, Jonquille is never afraid of a challenge. She is a fierce advocate with know-how in high stakes employment litigation. Called to the Bar in 2007, Jonquille has successfully worked with thousands of clients in connection with labour and employment law disputes.

Her many years exclusively representing employers gives her an edge in planning a winning strategy for her employee clients.

She has achieved favourable decisions at the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, various labour arbitration boards, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ministry of Labour, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal.

Prior to co-founding JPak Employment Lawyers, Jonquille worked at two of Canada’s top labour and employment law firms. She has represented unionized and non-unionized clients in a wide variety of sectors, including manufacturing, education, mining, business services, health care, telecommunications and media, from small start ups to large blue chip companies.

Before law, Jonquille earned her Master’s Degree in economics. Throughout her academic career, she was a Dean’s List student, earned numerous academic scholarships, awards and fellowships.

Jonquille appreciates the importance of giving back to the community. She sat on the Board of Directors of a non-for-profit organization providing community services to new immigrants and victims of domestic violence.

Outside of law, she enjoys a good round of golf and dreams of making it to the LPGA circuit.
